Cool photo essay on music and media up on Slate today that examines the evolution of human interaction with music. It’s something that at one point used to be a very physical thing, but has basically become a virtual experience as most music lives on ipod’s and computers.

As a photographer and DJ, I really enjoyed this. Thanks for posting. That photo of Ali chilling with turntable in the foreground is awesome.
