Digging to the Next Level

Tuesday, February 2, 2010

Frank just got back from another trip to Africa and shared these pics of his digging adventures. It’s safe to say that nobody is iller than him when it comes to vinyl excavation.

New mix of the best 45s Frank found on his trip!

  2. From what I understand the masks are almost a must. These records have been stored in high humidity conditions for decades, a natural breeding ground for mold. When you dig through these records, all of those mold spores get tossed in the air and into your lungs and eyes. A recipe for nasty infections.

what evil funk lurks in the tombs of vinyl? …the voodoo frank knows!

it’s fab that frank is doing all of the “heavy lifting,” so as that we can all eventually hear those unearthed “heavy hitters!”

    dig.
