I’m loving these illustrations by graphic designer and art director Brian Gossett. Apparently the series originated when he created the saxophone player for the AAF “Make it New” National Conference in 2009. It turned out to be such a big hit that Ubiquity Records purchased the rights to the image and made t-shirts out of them which became their highest selling shirt last year. The accordion and bass players soon followed, with perhaps more to come as Gossett has eluded to. The rest of his work is pretty ace too, and he has quite an impressive mixtape blog called Since 1978 that I highly recommend checking out.
