One of the records I always throw on the turntable around this time of year is Vince Guaraldi’s A Charlie Brown Christmas. Not that I have a lot of Christmas albums to choose from, but really, nothing gets me in the holiday spirit more than that record, so I was pretty excited to see that Mayer Hawthorne did a cover of “Christmas Time is Here” over the original Guaraldi instrumental. Some silky smooth stuff that will undoubtedly be added to my holiday playlist.
