More gorgeous record covers from Blue Note records and Reid Miles. Interestingly enough, Miles wasn’t a huge fan of the music he was designing countless covers for, and even though he received copies of every release he designed, he often traded them to friends for classical music. It’s often assumed that an artist’s greatest work comes from a connection to his or her subject, yet perhaps it was precisely Miles disconnect that allowed him to create such masterful work for the label.
